Message of AMPERE President

As President of AMPERE EUROPE, I propose to call an Extraordinary General Meeting (see Articles 6.6.2) to be held in the Main Auditorium at OTSU Prince Hotel, Lake BIWA, Otsu, Japan during the GCMEA Congress on Wednesday 6th August at 13:45 hours local time.

According to the needs of simplifying our structure and become more efficient, the Committee suggest to transform the actual Company form into a non-profit Association and strongly advise members to vote for the dissolution of Ampere Europe.

ICOPS 2008, 35th IEEE International Conference on Plasma Science MINI-COURSE
	The ICOPS Mini-Course was held in Karlsruhe, Germany. Organised by Lambert Feher and endorsed by AMPERE, the mini-course had great success and good attendance. In the picture, attendees during the last day of the course (click to see at full size).
